How do I log a meal?
Tap the plus button on the home screen. You can snap a photo of your food and Sphere will estimate the nutrition for you, or search the food database and log it manually. Water can be logged the same way.
The photo analysis got my meal wrong. What can I do?
Photo estimates are a starting point, not a verdict. After the analysis comes back you can adjust the portion size, swap ingredients, or edit the calories and macros directly. If a result seems consistently off, email us — real examples help us improve it.
How does Apple Health sync work?
Connecting Apple Health is optional. When enabled, Sphere writes your logged nutrition and water to Apple Health, and reads weight and activity data to keep your calorie plan in sync. You can manage permissions anytime in the iOS Settings app under Health → Data Access & Devices.
Apple Health isn't syncing. How do I fix it?
First check that Sphere has permission: open the iOS Settings app, go to Health → Data Access & Devices → Sphere, and make sure the categories you want are turned on. If permissions look right and data still isn't flowing, force-quit and reopen the app. Still stuck? Email us and we'll dig in.
How is my calorie and macro plan calculated?
Your plan is based on the details you enter during onboarding — height, weight, age, activity level, and your goal. You can update any of these in settings and your plan will recalculate.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. To manage or cancel, open the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Refund requests also go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — we never see or store your payment details.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email us at support@getsphere.io from the address on your account and we'll permanently delete your account, food logs, weight history, and photos. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.
Is my data private?
Yes. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and your photos and health data are never used to train AI models. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
